ARTIFICIAL URINARY SPHINCTER

ZSI 375 PF

Solution for male severe incontinence

An artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) is an effective solution for male severe urinary incontinence, particularly in cases of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) or after prostate surgery. It consists of
a silicone cuff, and a pump placed within the body. The cuff is wrapped around the urethra to prevent urine leakage, and the pump is typically implanted in the scrotum.

When a person with an AUS experiences the urge to urinate, they can manually press the pump to release the cuff’s pressure, allowing urine to flow. After voiding, the cuff automatically refills and reseals the urethra to prevent leakage.
